Become an Advocate for College Students

You can use your voice and your vote to decrease the stigma around mental health, encourage policies that allow more young people to get the help they need, and push for mental health promotion and suicide prevention efforts in college populations.

Out of The Darkness - Suicide Prevention/Awareness Walk in Madison, WI.

On September 18th, I participated in the 7th Annual Out of the Darkness Walk for Suicide. It took place in Madison, Wisconsin. Proceeds went to research and funding to prevent suicide. Over 250 people took place in this walk in efforts to increase awareness about depression and suicide as well as provide support for surviors of suicide loss.  Pictured above are myself and relatives...we walked in honor of my Uncle Ray, who suffered from depression and took hes life 7 years ago.
